What Under review / Removed means for me
A printable student handout when a CDL training location shows Under review or Removed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. This is not a legal opinion and not FMCSA advice — it explains how to read the public status and what to ask next.

If the status is Under review
- □ I will not treat “under review” as “approved and fine.” I will read FMCSA’s notice language myself.
- □ I will ask the school, in writing: what triggered the review, and whether they recommend waiting before new enrollments.
- □ I will pause any non-refundable deposit until I understand refund rules in writing (quote script).
- □ I will compare at least one other Active location with the compare-two checklist.
If the status is Removed
- □ I understand Removed means this location is not currently an Active TPR training provider in the public file we map.
- □ I will not rely on old ads, Facebook posts, or a salesperson’s verbal “we’re fine.”
- □ If I already paid: I will ask for a written refund / transfer policy and keep every receipt. Notes: ______________________________
